www.d-9.comwww.mnuspreadslies.comwww.sonypictures.co.uk/movies/district9/Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa's District 9 as the world's nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9.

District-9 looks really awesome, but I don't like watching slightly scary films in the cinima. I flinch really easily.

Here you can watch District 9 online, original version: mourizze.blogspot.com/2009/08/district-9-vose-online-esta-vez-si.htmlQuality not very good at the moment, but it's acceptable for me, and I will add more links when I find some... ps The film is great, not too violent or scary, I even think it would have been good to do the whole movie in cloverfield style...

You know something weird? Alot of the D-9 props were oringinally going to be for a Halo movie until it got denied the copyrights.

Yeah, I think I prefer this concept rather than Halo 3's, but I know your a big Halo 3 fan. Think a Halo movie will ever get made now, after the disagreements? Loads of games are been made into movies these days. It's a complete role reversal.

Halo has more story than gameplay. It still deserves a movie.

No, i'm 13. Cinemas have even worse age security than the army during WWI. I could easily pass as 15 anyway. Anyway I saw it. I loved the way it was all about racism rather than "alongtiemag0galaxifaarwayalensAAAAstelrjobs."

In my cinema, you can get away without paying, they check for tickets 1/10 movies. But I pay anyway, just in case.

It gets worse and yet my brother is the second youngest at 26...so...i dont think theyd question him lmao

15 and get into 18's, here there isn't age security at all, the public should decide what they watch...

With that logic, a child could see a porno. Would his parents really let him? That's what should decide that sort of thing.

With that logic, a child could see a porno. So..?? If children must be banned from watching anything, it should be gore and extreme violence, not porn...
