I do I love birds of prey. My favourite is the sparrow-hawk. I've seen 3 Ospreys at A Loch in Scotland when I went on holiday. I think it was Loch Garton ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Which bird of prey is your favourite?

Yeh the kestrels are cool, I was lucky enough to have a school next to a field and I get to watch them swoop down into the fields. It's so cool! ;D ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) If I'm lucky I can even see what it's caught!

I think its great that more people want to work with animals. I would love to work with animals although birds aen't really my thing, love the look of them and how they hunt, such beautiful creatures but i wouldnt know the first thing about looking after them.
We have some finches and cocketiels at my college, well at the animal center of my college anyway which we feed sometimes but Birds of pray are something of a mystory to me.

well, growing up at school i always wanted to work with animals and come near the end, i decided to train to be a vetrinary nurse, so went into sixth form to do 'Animal Care' but where i got placed for work experience, well i only worked with dogs and some of the dogs with courser[sp] fur set off my allergies, so i was told i would have to stop it and find something else to do, bit harsh when your 16/17 years old and all you've wanted to do is work with animals, but now your being told you gotta find another career.
But recently one of our cats has been really ill and had to go vets with her 3 times since last tuesday and its made me realise that i REALLY do wanna work with animals, so im now looking into doing an access to uni course and getting into vet school or somin related to train to be a vetrinary nurse, or even a vet. and im 21 now haha so im more concious of what it involves

yeah owls count! hahaha
I had mine all planned out when i was like 14/15, deciding what sixth form course id do, what college id go to for extra education, what vet school...but then it all went down thr pan and i cant remember any of my choices now, if i could find out the college, then maybe i could go that way, cos i had the qualifications

Well if you ever want to talk about it then feel free to hunt me down for a chat. I won't pretend to be an expert, but I've been doing a lot of research lately about what qualifications are needed to get into various veterinary courses, etc so I've got it all fresh in my mind ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
