Wow, I've just discovered a new American TV series called Terra Nova that involves time travel and dinosaurs. And it's produced by Steven Spielberg! I'm interested in watching this but it's an American series so I'll have to wait until the DVD release in June. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terra_Nova_(TV_series)

CARNO-MO'-FOOKKEN-TAURUS.
Wanna see this so bad.
It reminds me of AVATAR in Cretaceous South America.

Looks good, like a cross between Primeval and Outcasts.

Looks good, like a cross between Primeval and Outcasts. When I saw the trailer for this I thought it looked alot like the idea in your post: I know that they'd say it'd be ripping off Primeval but one thing i'd have liked to see is this. Those early Hominid fossils on Carpathia were a thousand years old right, whereas on Earth they lived millions of years ago. So they could have had prehistoric creatures appear on Carpathia, not Dinosaurs of course, but you could have the team discover Smilodon, Mammoths and Terror Birds sieging Forthaven. CARNO-MO'-FOOKKEN-TAURUS. I thought you'd like that part. ;D

Just read this in SFX mag (Oct11):
"The do-over mechanism in the series comes from scientists who have discovered a way around their bleak present via a time fracture. That anomaly creates a portal through which humans are sent to the Cretaceous era, 85 million years in the past, to start a new colony."

Hmm... maybe if they had no choice of time-zones, then that explains why it's set in the Cretaceous. I mean, if it was a matter of choice, then that's the last place I'd go!

I'm watching Terra Nova. It's being fast-tracked from the US to Australia. It's okay but I'm really hooked yet.

It's good, but not brilliant.
And kinda cliche.

Primeval and Terra Nova 2 awesome shows featuring Dinosaurs who could ask for more? By the way the Search Engine sucks I looked to see if there was any thread about Terra Nova and couldn't find any and yet there was this...
