To me, this episode is a 9/10.
Some parts of the script, as well as the behaviours of some of the creatures (I won't spoil it here), were a little... strange.
But otherwise it was PERFECT!! ;D

I think the CGI is perfectly fine, its still Impossible Pictures doing it I believe. Will take a while to get used to the new characters. Most important thing I think is to try and judge it on its own merits instead of comparing it to UK version.
Will be interesting to see where the show goes, which direction etc. Hopefully "Space" will commission a second series with a full 24 episodes, that way the Primeval Universe can truly be examined deeply.
Would also be nice to see the odd cameo from UK cast members.
I gave the show an 8/10 its got good potential, but as with all first episodes it had a few flaws, and the introductions to characters always takes time

Well that was interesting. It was interesting enough standalone and had a different enough tone to make it distinct from Primeval. I'd certainly be watching more regardless. Then there was that last little bit... that sold me on this as a sequel not just something with a similar name.

7/10! Was very pleased, only bad thing was some of the acting, apart from that, I really enjoyed it. The CGI was fine I think.

I think there's some promise, especially since there's some new kinds of characters, but the thing is that none of the characters really grab me yet. There was practically no character conflict in the premiere. That doesn't mean there won't be any as we go forward, but I would have preferred to have seen it from the off.
I'm also worried they're not going to treat the creatures right. The creatures from the premiere were seemingly treated as one-dimensional monsters. They killed people without eating them, which was especially jarring with the raptor kill. I hope that doesn't become a trend.
All that said, it has at least got off the ground without too many teething problems, which is a good sign. I did enjoy it overall. 7/10.

Great episode! But I think the episode one from season 1 was epic! I think the raptor did the same in second season. I give the episode 7.9/10

8 out of 10, though one massive possible error, that bugged me all episode and rewatched and yeah it's there, why the heck does the pterasaur have....feathers? Or something akin to that? They belong as much on there as they do on a crocodile.
Question, any rules about new topics? :> Curious about any topics related to errors on the animals portrayed and such.

oops :> My bad apparently they have been found with feathers, so definetly shows feathers are older then dinosaurs :> One thing I like about this show they usually get things accurate with the current info...:> Scratch my issue then.

Wolfgang, feel free to start new threads/topics. Anything of interest is always good. Although if posting about errors, try and provide sources, references etc
