Launching flightless birds at pigs may be fun, but ever wonder how the pigs feel? This week's episode of Primeval: New World gave us the answer, and it isn't pretty for the pigs.
After three episodes of team building, we finally got to see the crew all together in the field, and it was definitely worth the wait. It was obvious that Evan didn't believe that Leeds or Toby would be of useful in the field, but I think they both proved their worth. Sure Toby may be a bit inexperienced with a gun, but she has the drive to do what is needed.
I was thrilled to finally have Ken part of the team, but I am disappointed in his choice at the end. I hope that this decision alters the time-line drastically and causes Connor to show up again to put it back or it at least creates an interesting plot for future episodes.
It isn't very common that heroes will use drugs to vanquish their foes, or using a trap to get them high, but it did fit well for the situation. Is there a rule that every series which takes place in Vancouver must have at least one marijuana-filled episode? Is the fourth episode also where it must take place? Is it just a coincidence that Continuum, which also takes place in Vancouver, also had their green leaf experience in episode 4?
Just like the past episodes, the CG on the Terror Bird's were amazing. They fit into the environment stunningly and seamlessly. Every attack an interaction seemed very fluid and lifelike, even when they are snacking on humans. Why can't other Science Fiction series have effects like this?
"Angry Birds" was an excellent episode, and its story solidifies why Gillian Horvath became an executive producer for the series. Amazing job!
